Xardín de Xampedro is a 100% single-varietal wine Mencía.
It is obtained from a single site, being the first of all
the Denomination of Origin Bierzo that fits into the new
specification “Vino de Paraje” , whose strict requirements make
that its production has been only 5,000 bottles
in 2018 and 7,500 bottles in the 2019 vintage.

A great fruit Mencia prepared in Paraje Xardín in Villadecanes (El Bierzo,
Spain). On slopes exceeding 500 m. altitude, with a drop
medium around 10% and facing west.
Its harvest is artisanal with cluster-by-cluster grape selection.
